All Outdoortoys Battery Operated Ride-on Toys (“Ride-on”) come with a 6 months Limited Warranty, please see below for details of parts not covered by warranty (“Warranty”) which extends to the original retail purchaser only, proof of purchase will be required to validate any claim.

Please Note: Part or model specifications are subject to change without notice. You are required to keep the box the Ride-on was delivered in for the duration of the warranty, failure to do so may invalidate the Warranty.

By purchasing and using your new Battery Operated Ride-on Toy (“Ride-on”) you agree to be bound by the terms of this Warranty as set out below.

What the Warranty covers:

The Warranty does not cover and will be voided if:

  • The Ride-on is used in a manner contrary to the instructions as stated in the Owner’s Manual included with the Ride-on.
  • If the Ride-on is exported outside of the UK.
  • If the Ride-on is incorrectly assembled.
  • If the Ride-on is damaged due to incorrect use, misuse, accident or abuse.
  • If the Ride-on is damaged due to alterations or modifications which have been made to the Ride-on or repairs performed by an unauthorized engineer.
  • If the owner of the Ride-on has failed to perform regular, correct maintenance.
  • If the Ride-on is rented or used for commercial purposes.
  • The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or any other causes not arising from defects in materials or workmanship.

The Warranty does not cover Batteries, Steering Wheels, cosmetic parts or any other components that wear with use as detailed below:

  • Batteries are considered consumable products and also require regular maintenance in order to ensure good battery health, the battery is only covered if you have purchased specific battery warranty.
  • Steering wheels are not covered as the steering wheel is often used to lift the Ride-on, an action they are not design for and we strongly advise against. We class damaged or broken steering wheels as normal wear and tear and as such they are not covered by the Warranty.
  • Mirrors, Doors, Body plastics, Stickers>& Decals, Decorations& Accessories and Seats& Seat coverings are classed as cosmetic parts and are not considered as essential for the operation of the Ride-on.
  • Unfortunately items made from moulded plastic may have slight mould irregularities such as small dents in the plastic or scratches, these are an unavoidable side effect of the manufacturing process and happen when the sheet plastic is being moulded into shape. These irregularities are purely cosmetic and do not affect the operation of the toy and as such are not considered a warranty issue.
  • Components that wear with use including but not limited to tyres/wheels, wires, chains or belts.

In order to rectify any Warranty issues we will:

  • Repair and replace parts covered by the Warranty as long as they are caused through manufacturing defect or fault of production which caused the product to malfunction, as well as repair of a fault of the material of the products construction which resulted in the product malfunctioning.
  • In order to address Warranty issues we will issue parts that you will be responsible for fitting.
  • If parts fail to correct the issue we will action a Service and Repair where we collect the Ride-on and bring it back to our workshop in order to correctly identify the fault and fix the Ride-on. If we are unable to fix the Ride-on after our technicians have investigated the issue and the fault is covered by the Warranty guidelines as stated above we will provide a replacement, if a replacement is not available we will issue store credit.
  • In some instances we may invite you to locally source a repair the cost of which we will refund. This may be suggested in order to speed up the repair process or for your convenience.

In order to qualify for a refund of labour costs due to a locally sourced repair the repairs must have been agreed by ourselves beforehand. Any unauthorised repairs will not be eligible for refund, you must also produce a copy of the receipt for any agreed repairs which clearly shows the manufacturing defect, fault or fault of material to the product has been fixed.

We do not issue refunds for products outside of the 14 days refund period.

Outdoortoys will not be held liable for incidental or consequential loss, injury or damage, due directly or indirectly from use of the Ride-on product.

Cracked wood or Green mottling are not warranty Issues

Rebo Outdoor Wooden Play Equipment is constructed from timber which is a natural product and may be affected by the environment and weather conditions it is exposed to much more than a man-made product would be.Cracks may appear in the surface of the wood which is perfectly natural for timber particularly in the summer, this does not affect the structural integrity of the timber or the safety of Rebo Outdoor Wooden Play Equipment. These cracks are rarely a sign of defects but simply the timber adapting to the fluctuations in the atmosphere and humidity of its environment. Cracks may expand and contract depending on the environmental conditions, this is perfectly natural. To protect Rebo Outdoor Wooden Play Equipment Wooden components and to ensure the products are as resilient as possible, the wood is pressure treated*. This safeguards Rebo Outdoor Wooden Play Equipment against wood-destroying insects and fungi that can cause soft-rot and increases the longevity of the products. A side effect of this treatment process is green mottling which may become visible on the surface of the wood, this is perfectly natural and shows the wood has been treated. The mottling is simply a reaction between the preservative wood treatment and the resin already present in the timber. It is recommended that additional wood treatments are applied to the Rebo Outdoor Wooden Play Equipment on a yearly basis to prolong their life. Additionally, accessories such as slides, swing seats etc should be stored inside when not in use or during winter months to protect them from adverse weather conditions which could cause metal or plastic fatigue or in the case of canvas accessories the canvas to rot. Failure to store accessories correctly during adverse weather conditions may invalidate the warranty.*The Active swing range is not pressure treated and we recommend that customer use a wood treated to prolong the life of your Rebo Active Outdoor Wooden Play EquipmentMisuse, High Winds, Fire Damage, Extreme Weather, Natural Disasters are not covered by the warrantyThe warranty on your Rebo Outdoor Wooden Play Equipment only covers defects in materials or workmanship which result in the Rebo Outdoor Wooden Play Equipment being damaged.A 2M safety perimeter should be allowed around all outdoor play equipment
